Barclays hires head of cash management for Germany

Barclays has hired Frank Hofmann as head of cash management for Germany within its corporate banking team.

In his role, Hofmann will be responsible for driving the delivery of cash management services to multi-national and large local German corporates as well as delivering local solutions for internationally active corporates in Germany.

Hofmann joins Barclays from SEB in Frankfurt where he spent six years driving the German cash management business.

Barclays Corporate head of international cash management origination Michael Mueller said that Frank's cash management experience makes him an ideal candidate to lead their cash management offering in Germany.

"His appointment builds upon our strategy of enhancing our presence in the German market by delivering best in class financial solutions to suit our clients' business needs," added Mueller.

Barclays Corporate provides integrated banking solutions to businesses with an annual turnover of more than GBP5min the UK and local companies, financial institutions and multinationals in non-UK markets.
