Salesforce unveils new retail banking application

BBR Staff Writer Published 06 October 2017

Salesforce has unveiled Financial Services Cloud for Retail Banking, a new application that allows bank employees have a complete view of their customers and work collaboratively.

The cloud platform is designed to maintain all the customers’ data such as education background, bank accounts, loans etc within a role-based banking console to enhance the productivity and serve the customers in a personalized way.

The console enables bankers to work on priority tasks by collecting information from multiple systems.

Also, personal bankers can attend customers to provide relevant solutions to reach their financial goals.

With the integrated APIs, banks can easily use financial services cloud platform to satisfy the customer needs thereby avoiding toggle between disparate systems and silos to operate various banking workflows.

Einstein's data science and machine learning capability helps bankers to auto-identify and take action on their priority referrals based on intelligent scoring and insights.

New record types, components and referrer profiles enables bankers to manage referrals and work with various banking divisions to solve the financial needs depending upon the customers' interest in financial products and services.

Salesforce SVP and GM of financial services Rohit Mahna said: "Banks are no longer just competing against one another. They're being compared to any company providing a convenient user experience that builds loyalty.

"With Financial Services Cloud for Retail Banking, Salesforce is making it possible for customers to love their banks again."

Salesforce has introduced its first Financial Services Cloud application two years back to support financial institutions in managing their services with clients.
